Quizzes
  1. Classes - Open the "Classes" tab below. You choose how to name your classes; we suggest naming them the way you normally refer to your different classes.

  2. Students - Open the "Students" tab to add your students. You can enter them manually, or import a list using a .csv, .xls, or .xlsx file. Each file should contain only one class list. (You can enter a spearate file for each of your classes.) Your file should contain only ONE line of headers: First, Last.

If you do not follow the header directions, you could end up having to manually add a student, or delete a "bogus student" from your class list, as the additional header will be read as a class name.

You do not have to use their legal names. If your students have an ID number that they know (because they will have to select the same information), you can use that, or any fictitious names you would like, as long as you know what name you assigned each student. Simply leave the header as stated above and add your name combinations to the first two columns. The names can just be in one column, but if in both they will be joined to form one name.

  3. Students Take the Quiz - They will log in as students with your CLASS CODE. They do NOT create their own account at izzit.org

Your Class Code can be found on the my account page. Consider writing it on your board for students' ease of use.

They choose QUIZZES in the top navigation menu, then select which quiz to take. They select "Class" and "Student," then complete the quiz.

  4. Review Quizzes - Open the "Review Scores" tab to review quiz scores.

Click Show/Hide to see quizzes for a given class. You will then see student names, quizzes they've taken, scores, and if they completed the discussion. There is also a print icon. To see the entire quiz, click on the quiz title beneath the student name. Scroll down to find the discussion question. In the upper right corner, you'll find a PRINT button. BACK button is in the upper left corner. For printing, if you wish to print out only the discussion answer, choose to print only page 2. (Class and Student info will be included in printed header.)

  5. Export Scores - Open the "Export Scores" tab to download student scores in a class list.

Choose "Class" and "Quiz." Click the Export button to receive a download of Student Scores, Short Responses, and Class Average Score.
